Biography
After a BA from the Institute of Fashion Design at HGK in Basel and an MA from the Paris Fashion Institute, Emilie Meldem joined the studios of prestigious brands Louis Vuitton and then Hermès, before becoming Head of Embroidery at Peter Pilotto. Since 2016, she has worked as a freelancer with brands such as Y Project while teaching at HEAD – Genève’s Fashion Design Department. Meldem is the winner of the 2011 Jury’s Special Prize at the Hyères international festival of fashion and photography.
