Biography
Tabarak Allah Abbas was born in 1998 in Switzerland, of Iraqi origin. In 2023 she graduated from HEAD – Geneva (HES-SO) in cinema. She is passionate about art in all its forms, from fiction to animation. She enjoys developing team projects, as she attaches great importance to the social, thus reflecting her first studies. It is her desire to make a difference through art that continues to inspire her. Her first-year film Un papillon (2021) was selected in the schools competition at the Int. Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, Les fantômes du paradis (2021) at the Geneva Int. Film Festival and her graduation film Mawtini (2023) won the Art and Humanity Prize in 2023.
