Biography
Jill Gasparina is art critic, freelance exhibition curator and lecturer at HEAD—Genève (HES-SO). After studying at the École normale supérieure in Lyon and obtaining a Master’s degree in modern literature, she turned to studying the visual arts, writing criticism and teaching at art school. She was director of the La Salle de Bains art centre
in Lyon from 2009 to 2013, and was then in charge of visual arts programming at Confort Moderne (Poitiers) from 2015 to 2017. Her research focuses in particular on technological imaginaries in art and the phenomena of mass production in pop culture.
