A Fashion Design teacher at HEAD – Genève since 2008, Bertrand Maréchal is responsible for the BA in Fashion Design and MA in Fashion & Accessory Design workshops in association with prestigious guests such as Bless, Christian Lacroix, Anne Valérie Hash, Olivier Saillard and Tony Delcampe.

From 2000 to 2007, Maréchal worked as a journalist for the lifestyle and fashion sections of newspaper Le Temps in Geneva, deciphering profound changes in the fashion industry at the turn of the century while analysing fashion shows in New York, Milan and Paris.

Between 1990 and 2000, Maréchal launched his own off-the-peg line, instantly acclaimed by the media. During his early years, he worked as assistant for Hubert de Givenchy’s for the brand’s haute couture studio, accessories and fur collection.
