Biography
Anaïs Bloch is a painter, designer and researcher. After a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design at ECAL, she began a Master’s degree in Anthropology of Material Culture in London. Since then, she has worked on various projects between art and research and teaches in different art schools, including at Eracom in Lausanne. She has also collaborated with Nicolas Nova since 2016 at HEAD-Geneva on various research projects, the latest of which focuses on the practices of repairing and transforming obsolete digital objects. This year, she is beginning a doctoral thesis at the crossroads of Anthropology and Educational Sciences in order to reflect on what digital education through art and design could be. In this context, she explores modes of knowledge production with a research-creation approach through comics. She is also part of the Marie-Louise collective and La Bûche collective, a fanzine of female comic book authors.
