Biography
Artist – Geneva
Ambroise Tièche studied at the Cambre in Brussels and Geneva. Tièche has been teaching at the HEAD since 2007, both in the Construction course and as Director of the Year One Visual Arts Program. His plastic and textual work questions knowledge and its limits, as well as meaning and its shifts and reversals. Since 2009, his work has mostly centred itself on an ongoing dictionary about what he knows, entitled Dictionnaire encyclopédique lacunaire.
