Biography
Born in Lausanne in 1993, Mariama Balde began her studies in International Relations before following her passion for cinema. Since 2013, she has written a hundred interviews as well as numerous film reviews for Swiss newspapers and magazines. She learned the tools of filmmaking and directed several short films at the ECAL’s Cinema section. She is currently preparing her first animated feature film.
